Nuestra compañera Tess Ingram nos pide que pensemos por un momento en esos diminutos recién nacidos, tan frágiles, muchos llegados al mundo demasiado pronto, con un peso demasiado bajo. Su vida pende de un hilo en medio del horror.
Seguimos apoyando a los pocos hospitales operativos en la Franja: cada incubadora, cada respirador, cada jeringuilla, cada manta... es la demostración de que no los hemos olvidado.
Pero no es suficiente. Estos bebés necesitan mucho más. Necesitan un alto el fuego real y sostenido. Necesitan que la ayuda entre a la escala que merecen sus vidas.
Today we're going from South to north Gaza with 20 trucks of supplies. Ten of these trucks are going directly to four hospitals in Gaza City. We're at Alali Hospital now in in Gaza City with life saving medical supplies for children. We've got bandage, gauze, IV drips, syringes, resuscitation kits, items for newborns. Because of the terrible conditions that pregnant women have to live through, malnutrition, trauma. There are so many babies in the Gaza Strip who are being born preterm or underweight and life saving neonatal intensive care unit like this warmer is keeping these tiny babies alive. We've just delivered. This one to ask Sahaba Hospital in Gaza City, and it is one of a whole range of supplies that we're bringing to hospitals here in the Gaza Strip.
