Ramon Milllan Tejedor’s Summary
I received my Advanced Telecommunication Engineer degree (5 years) from the Valladolid University in 1998. I also finished a Master in Business Administration oriented to Telecommunication Companies (2 years) from the Madrid Politechnical University in 2004. I received my Marketing degree (5 years) from UOC in 2009.
I have an accumulated experience of more than 11 years in the Telecommunications sector, during which he I have worked as systems engineer, software programmer and designer, technical coordinator and marketing and solutions engineer, in Iberia Spanish Airlines, Inad (Altran Group) and Ericsson. During 8 years I have been the tecnical coordinator and customers relations in the Ericsson Spain technical support department, managing the integration verification, technical sales support, certification, training preparation and delivery, and solutions specification, of multivendor optical xWDM networks equipment and management systems. In July 2007 I started to work as solutions and product managemement engineer for GPON in Entrisphere, transfered during 6 months to Texas and California in EEUU. Now I have the same work in Spain. My primary objective is to generate the strategy, marketing and product management for all Telefonica Group and Key Western Europe Operators.
Considering my activities related to the spreading of Telecommunications, I have been collaborating for more than 10 years with several telecommunications and computer sciences Spanish magazines with more than 70 articles of technical character and opinion, as well as reports and interviews, published at national and international level. I am also author of 9 books about smarth homes, telecommunication technologies, P2P networks, IP convergence and marketing online. I have also been proffesor of several courses and seminaries about Telecommunications at Universities and telecom operators.
