Marek Foss’s Summary

I am a `08 graduate of Oxford University Computing Laboratory where I have taken the Master`s Course in Computer Science. I focus on Information Extraction and processing of data for the Semantic Web. I conducted research on this topic during my stay at the Oxford-MAN Institute of Quantitative Finance. I am also very interested in Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Since November 2006, I have been creating complex Desktop Applications, and for that my favourite was C++ and WinAPI. In my current Web Development, I prefer Object Oriented Perl, but occasionally I use PHP. In the spare time, I like to create eyecandy designs and logotypes.
