The Catalan Institute of Cardiovascular Sciencies (ICCC) is a Consortium between Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia: Health Department and Innovation, Universities and Company Department), the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, and Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
The ICCC was created by request of the government of the Generalitat on the 28th September 1999 to undertake a great project and to provide a new impulse for research, development and innovation, key activities in ensuring the competitiveness of Catalonia.
